Enveloc
Worry-Free Data Security
With Enveloc®, online computer backup is the
last of your worries. Enveloc®'s remote backup technology
ensures companies of all sizes as well as individual users that their data is always
backed up and always retrievable. It's protection no company
or individual with valuable information on their computer
should be without.
How Secure Is It?
Enveloc® computer backup uses 256bit AES encryption to
protect your data. The U.S. Government has recently replaced
the Triple DES standard with the similar but more advanced
AES standard, even for TOP SECRET documents. Our system uses
a 256bit key - a key so large it is difficult to imagine
(approximately 11 followed by 76 zeros) . To mount a brute
force attack on a key this large would require trying 7.34 x
1059 keys every second for the remaining estimated life of
the solar system - 5 Billion years. AES encryption is very
safe.
Protect Your Data Now
The Enveloc® online backup system is completely
automated. Set it up and forget about it. There are no
schedules to keep up with and no disks or tapes to manage.
And with our No-Risk 30 day trial, there's also nothing to
lose.
How Enveloc Works
During initial setup, you select the files that you want
to back up. Enveloc then tracks updates to those files and
stores the last 5 versions of each file. If you accidentally
delete or overwrite a file or if it is lost due to sabotage
or hard disk failure, you can easily restore it with Enveloc.
1. Compress & Encrypt Files - Before your sensitive data
leaves your machine, it is encrypted with Triple DES, 168
bit encryption. Your data is so secure that no one, not even
Enveloc, can read it. Enveloc never has access to your
computer.
2. Transmit Files To Enveloc Servers - Your fully
encrypted backup file is then transmitted to redundant
servers located at two different U.S. locations. With
Enveloc, your data is protected against any eventuality.
