Our rates are significantly lower than Best Buy's Geek Squad and are competitive with all others.
With on-site service, we invite you to watch and ask questions (which we answer in plain English, not "Geek-Speak") so you know exactly what you are paying for.
HOW QUICKLY WILL YOU RECEIVE SERVICE, AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
For on-site service, where we come to you, we can normally schedule your appointment for the same day you call or the next day, depending on what time of day you call for service. Compare that to most of our competitors who often can not schedule your service for several days or even a week or more. And we schedule evening and Saturday appointments (when available) at our standard rates; we have no "after hours" or "weekend" rates for residential customers. Most of our service calls are completed within one to two hours, although more extensive service may require more time. In any case, we never charge more than $299 for any single service or problem resolution (only $249 for spyware/virus removal).
For in-shop service, where you bring your equipment to us, we normally complete repairs within three to five business days, although depending on our technicians' work load, we sometime complete repairs as quickly as in a day or two. Many of our competitors have up to a two to three week turn-around time (or more) for in-shop repairs.

Tech Wizards LLC believes strongly in our ethical responsibility to protect the confidentiality of its customers' data, information, and personal privacy.
Our posted Privacy Policy assures that your privacy will be respected both when visiting this web site and when we service your equipment, and that we will keep your data confidential.
In addition to strict regulations, our technicians are bound by a signed non-disclosure agreement when performing work at a customer's site or at our repair shops.

CAN YOU DEPEND ON RECEIVING HONEST, NON-BIASED ADVICE AND RECOMMENDATIONS?
Tech Wizards' primary business is a service and support company, not retailing, so we have no incentive to try to convince you to purchase new equipment when a repair would be the smarter solution to your problem. Although we will tell you if it would be wiser to purchase a new system than to invest more money in repairing your older equipment, that advice will be based on your best interest, not on a hardware sales goal that needs to be meet by a technician or salesperson.
We often have a "free" alternative to meet your security or productivity software needs, something that Geek Squad and many of our other competitors cannot (or will not) offer. Although we may recommend a product that must be purchased because it offers superior performance or features, we often can also offer a free alternative to those on a more limited budget.
