
Seeing
a niche that wasn't filled (at that time), I founded "PC Wizards" (our
former name) in December 2001 with a mission to provide outstanding friendly
professional computer services to small businesses and home computer users
in the greater Raleigh, Durham, and Cary NC area at affordable prices. Since then many competitors have sprung up offering
similar services but none offer the outstanding customer service provided by
Tech Wizards technicians, the most knowledgeable and friendly technicians in
the area.
In May 2005 (when the company incorporated as an LLC) our name changed to
Tech Wizards, LLC to reflect an expansion of services. Added services
include more extensive IT support for Raleigh and Durham small and medium-sized businesses,
Data Recovery, Tutoring & Training, and expanded networking and web design
services.
In October 2009 our offices and primary repair shop in Raleigh moved into a bigger, more centrally located office on Wind Chime Court, just off of Six Forks Road in Raleigh, just north of the North Hills shopping complex. At the same time we again expanded our product offering, adding proactive monitoring and comprehensive remote support for our business customers.
We are now the complete "one-stop" technology company for business
and home uses in the greater Raleigh Durham NC area.
During a Tech Wizards service call a polite, professional technician will
first summarize the nature of the call, ask any needed questions and explain
in general terms what he will be doing. He will also invite you watch every
step of the process and ask any questions you might have, and he will talk
in plain English, not in "geek-speak". Or, if you prefer, he will begin the
job and let you know when the work is finished, allowing you to tend to
other matters while he services your computer. Either way, before leaving he
will explain (in layman's terms) exactly what he did and he will answer any
questions you might have about the work performed. We also have drop-off
service in the Raleigh/Durham area for those customers who would prefer that
their service be performed in our repair shop.
My goal for every Tech Wizards service call is to leave you with a computer,
server, network, or complete technology system that works as well or better
than when it was brand new, and to do so at an affordable, competitive
price. That includes taking the time to explain basic maintenance procedures
that every user should perform on a regular basis to insure maximum speed
and performance.
