Seeing a niche that wasn't filled (at that time), I founded "PC Wizards"
(our former name) in 2001 with a mission to provide outstanding, friendly,
professional computer services to home computer users and small businesses
in the greater Raleigh, Durham, and Cary NC area at affordable prices. Since
then many competitors have sprung up offering similar services but none
offer the outstanding customer service provided by Tech Wizards technicians,
the most knowledgeable and friendly technicians in the area.
In May 2005 (when the company incorporated as an LLC) our name changed to Tech Wizards, LLC to reflect an expansion of services. Added services include more extensive IT support for Raleigh and Durham small and medium-sized businesses, full data recovery services, and expanded server and network support.
In October 2009 we again expanded our product offering by becoming a full Managed Services Provider (MSP), adding 24/7/365 remote system monitoring, automated proactive remote and on-site maintenance, and complete remote support services for businesses of all sized.
We are now the complete "one-stop" technology company for home users and businesses in the greater Raleigh Durham NC area.
During a Tech Wizards service call a polite, professional technician will first summarize the nature of the call, ask any needed questions and explain in general terms what he will be doing. He will also invite you watch every step of the process and ask any questions you might have, and he will talk in plain English, not in "geek-speak". Or, if you prefer, he will begin the job and let you know when the work is finished, allowing you to tend to other matters while he services your computer. Either way, before leaving he will explain (in layman's terms) exactly what he did and he will answer any questions you might have about the work performed. We also offer remote desktop support and pickup/delivery (at a small additional charge) for those customers who would prefer that their service not be performed at their home or business.
