If
dropping off your equipment at our 156A Wind Chime Court repair shop in North
Raleigh (919 841-5506) just come by any time Monday through Friday between 9
am and 5 pm (except major holidays). Saturday drop-offs are available by
appointment only (call for details). A $50 Diagnostic Fee will be required at the time of drop-off. If you
elect to have needed repairs or service performed then the $50 Diagnostic
Fee will be waived and that amount will be credited toward the cost of your
repairs or labor service charge.
If
dropping off at one of our other Satellite Drop-Off Locations...
1. CALL TECH WIZARDS - Please call Tech Wizards at one of the
telephone numbers to the left to determine if Drop-Off Service is the best
option for the service you need. At this point we can provide a non-binding
rough estimate of the cost of service based on the information you provide
over the telephone.
2.
DROP OFF YOUR EQUIPMENT (ID REQUIRED) - You can then drop off the equipment
to be serviced at an authorized Tech Wizards Drop-Off Location (listed on
the left) at your
convenience. Be prepared to spend a few minutes completing a form when
dropping off your equipment to be serviced. You will also be asked to
provide identification. This is for your protection as well as for our
record-keeping purposes.
3.
TECHNICIAN WILL CALL WITH ESTIMATE - A Tech Wizards technician will call you
that same day or the next day to provide a more specific estimate of the
service charge estimate based on his diagnosis of the actual services
required, as well as an estimated completion date. Any additional services
required that increase the estimate provided by your technician at this time
will NOT be performed without your specific permission.
4.
TECHNICIAN WILL CALL WHEN SERVICE HAS BEEN COMPLETED - Your technician will
call you when service has been completed (normally within one to five
business days of the time of your technician's call regarding the service
charge estimate) and provide to you your final service charge and a Work
Order number. You will need this work order number in order to make payment
AND in order to pick up your equipment from the Drop-Off Location. At this
time you can decide if you want to pick up your equipment at the same
location at which you dropped it off, or if you want your technician to
deliver the item to your location ($15 additional travel charge within our
normal service area). Please note that if you want your technician to hook
up your returned equipment, test it, or perform any other services while
onsite then a $25/quarter hour additional labor charge will apply.
5.
ARRANGE PAYMENT AND PICK-UP OR DELIVERY - IMPORTANT: If you plan to pick up
your equipment from the Drop-Off location then payment MUST be made via
credit card either when your technician calls you to let you know that
service is complete, or by calling our office during business hours at one
of the phone numbers on the left of this page, or by clicking here. In order
to make payment you will need the Work Order number given to you by your
technician. If you have your equipment delivered to your location then you
can pay by cash, check or credit card at the time your equipment is
delivered..
6.
REQUIREMENTS FOR EQUIPMENT PICK-UP - When picking up your serviced equipment
at the Drop-Off Location you will be required to provide the Work Order
number given to you by your technician and present identification before
your equipment will be released to you. If someone else (other than the
person who dropped off the items) will be picking up your equipment you must
call Tech Wizards (not the Drop-Off Location) and provide the name and
address of the person authorized to pick up your equipment. Absolutely NO
exceptions will be made to this requirement.
